Ingredients

  • 1200grams goat meat (washed and cut )
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 2-3 scotch bonnet/habanero pepper (chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Pepper soup spice
  • 1-2 Tbsp coarsely ground crayfish
  • 1 small bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 sprig of fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 stock cubes
  • Salt to taste
  • scent leaves/uziza leaves (optional).

How To Prepare Goat Meat Pepper Soup

  1. You should pour meat into a pot and add water enough to cover the meat.
  2. Add the chopped onions, crushed garlic, stock cubes, and enough salt, then give it time to boil.
  3. When the contents in the pot begin to boil, now add the pepper soup spice, ground crayfish ( if available), and the chopped habanero pepper.
  4. Make sure to cook the meat till it’s tender, then lower the heat to simmer. Taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly.
  5. Next, you should add the chopped red bell peppers and the chopped parsley. Allow the soup to simmer for a few minutes, now turn off the heat.
  6. Enjoy it hot or warm.
